Another piece for the CHERCHBI show stand. The same design has been used to shear sheep for hundreds of years. This pair are old but they’re still hand-made in Sheffield by Burgon & Ball to an unchanged design – one single peice of hardened steel is bent, formed and sharpened by hand. I like the strength of this image, so it’s sure to find it’s way into the lookbook/brochure for the new Herdwyck bags.
