Our first (and only) set of CHERCHBI BRITISH MADE oak signage is now being installed in one of our customers showrooms. I’ve just received replacement letters which I’ll be beeswaxing and polishing soon; laborious but worth the effort.
The letters and carved oak blocks (below) sum up what Cherchbi is about; they’re made locally, just a few miles down the road. The raw material is sourced in England, so the carbon footprint is small. English oak itself has great heritage, having been used for everything from shipbuilding and houses to furniture and kitchen utensils for over 4,000 years. And, it just fits very well with the leather, wool, cotton, silk and other natural materials used across the collection.
