2011. First Herdwyck bags

Cherchbi began in 2007 with a simple idea to make bags using the discarded wool of the ancient Herdwick breed. The transformation of this low value fleece into high quality cloth was much more complex than anticipated and infact took almost four years. Read more about this process in the About section of this website. The first collection of Herdwyck wool tweed bags finally launched at the Pitti Uomo menswear fair in January 2011.
